Lunar Brawl skins 2019 (limited skins made in celebration of the chinese new year)
The first Lunar Brawl skins was released on the 31st of January in celebration of the chinese new year, aka. the lunar new year.
The skins where available for a 14 day period in the shop, and like other limited skins it’s hard to tell if Supercell will ever re-release these for the next Lunar Brawl event.
Lion Dance Brock
Lion Dance Brock was released on the 31st of January 2019 and listed at 150 gems in the shop. The coolest part with this skin might be the fact that it replaces Brock’s normal granade launcher with a chinese dragon! Apart from that Brock kinda looks like santa in this skin and it sadly doesn’t add any additional effects to either his normal attacks or super.
Royal Agent Colt
Royal Agent Colt was released on the 31st of January 2019 and listed at 150 gems in the shop. In all honesty, the skin isn’t that great. In our opinion it’s pretty similar to the normal Colt skin and if anything – it might actually look slightly worse! Hopefully this review can ease your pain at least a tiny bit, if you’re one of those who missed out on your chance to add this limited skin to your collection.
Dumpling Darryl was released on the 31st of January 2019 and listed at 80 gems in the shop. This skin got altered animations for both his normal attacks and his super, which makes it a whole lot more interesting than the other Lunar Brawl skins! It’s quite wierd, but for some reason it seems like Supercell put the most effort into the least expensive skin this time around!
Brawliday skins 2018 (limited Christmas skins)
The very first limited Brawliday skins was Red Nose Nita, Santamike and Lil Helper Penny, which were all released on the 20th of december 2018 as way to celebrate the holidays!
All of the Brawliday skins came with generous featured offers, providing the players with great discounts for every purchase!
On January the 2nd, Supercell posted this news article in game: “Brawlidays Skins: Last Chance!”, were they stated that: “…Today is your LAST CHANCE to grab them this holiday season…” and “…after January 3 nobody else will be able to grab them!” (referring to the skins!)
This makes it really hard to tell if Supercell is planning to bring ’em back around next Christmas for Brawlidays 2019, or if they are forever lost for all players who missed out on the initial offer.
Red Nose Nita
Red Nose Nita was released on the 20th of December 2018 and listed at 150 gems in the shop, but in reality it only cost 109 gems thanks to the featured offer that was given to all players. The skin was the most expensive Brawliday skin 2018, which makes it even more special than its two peers. Red Nose Nita gives both Nita and her bear cool humoristic reindeer look, perfect for the snowy holidays!
Santamike was released on the 20th of December 2018 and listed at 80 gems in the shop, but in reality it only cost 59 gems thanks to the featured offer that was given to all players. Santamike turns Dynamike into Father Christmas himself and changes his normal attack in game so he instead throws vicious candy canes around the battlefield. Both hilarious and deadly!
Lil Helper Penny
Lil Helper Penny was released on the 20th of December 2018 and listed at 80 gems in the shop, but in reality it only cost 59 gems thanks to the featured offer that was given to all players. Lil Helper Penny turns Penny into a cute Christmas elf and replaces her normal cannon with one that’s wrapped up as a gift! We’re guessing it’s suitable for everyone on the naughty list, or don’t you agree?!
Star Shelly – pre-registration reward 2018
As a way of spreading the word of Brawl Stars from mouth to mouth and through different social channels, Supercell announced “Star Shelly” as a free skin given to all initial players, if Brawl Stars would ever hit 2 million pre-registration before the official game launch.
This number where easily surpassed and shortly thereafter Supercell communicated that they would give the skin for free to all the players who created a Brawl Stars account before the end of 2018! We’re almost certain that Star Shelly will never again be available for new players, which makes it a really rare gem in every skin collection!
